Leps Scrimmage at El Campo Friday

The La Grange football team will get its first chance to hit someone else this Friday as the team goes to El Campo for a scrimmage.

The Leps will then host Franklin Thursday Aug. 20 about 6:30 p.m. in their second scrimmage before hosting Navasota on Friday Aug. 28 in the season opener for both teams.

Numbers-wise the Leps have strong participation in the football program.

Head coach Kyle Cooper said he will have 38 players on the varsity this season and will also have 26 sophomores and 47 freshmen playing football.
