The Fayetteville girls basketball team celebrates its win Tuesday in Natalia ISD over Nueces Canyon.
There are 16 Class 1A girls basketball teams left in the playoffs, and the Fayetteville Lady Lions are one of them. The Fayetteville girls won in the regional quarterfinals 63-50 Tuesday over Nueces Canyon (the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year).
