Smithville Edges La Grange Boys by One Point in Team Standings

The La Grange girls surged to the District 20-4A team track title Tuesday in Giddings, while the La Grange boys fell one point short of continuing a halfdecade of team district dominance.
The Lady Leps amassed 207 total points. Giddings was second with 184. The La Grange girls won eight different events and advanced athletes in all but one event to next week’s area meet in Lake Belton.
