Lady Leps Pound Eastside 17-0

The La Grange softball team pounded Austin Eastside Friday at home 17-0 as Alyssa Liccioni pitched a no-hitter and the Lady Leps cranked out 12 hits in a game cut to just three inning by the mercy rule.

Liccioni struck out six and walked one. Avery Marshall hit a pair of doubles and drove in five. Landri Hernandez and Sarah Kay each had two hits. Jenna Jobb and Hernandez hit doubles and Abby Dela Rosa hit a triple. The Lady Leps now have a 6-0 district record as they get set to play Tuesday at Giddings as 6 p.m.
