Lady Leps Fall in Softball
The La Grange girls softball lost to Smithville on the road Tuesday 10-9.
The Lady Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to get the win after La Grange had rallied to take a lead in the top of the seventh.
La Grange’s Landri Hernandez had three hits, and Teagan Branch and M. Schroeder had two each.
La Grange is now 1-1 in district and Smithville is 2-0. The Lady Leps host Taylor Friday at 7 p.m. with Little League Night festivities prior to the game.
