Cuero 8th Grade 46

La Grange 8th Grade 6

The La Grange Middle School 8th grade Leopards hosted the Cuero Gobblers on Thursday night in their first district action. After giving up a quick score to Cuero on their first drive, the Leps stopped the Gobblers two-point conversion. Then, La Grange answered on their second play from scrimmage, a double pass from Oliver Gunn to Mason Kleiber to Jeffrey Cabrerra for a 60 yd. touchdown. The following two-point try resulted in a 102 yd interception return for a Safety. With the score now 8-6, the Gobblers took to the field running and gunning. La Grange would not see the end zone again and the game ended in a final of 46-6.
