La Grange Girls Bash Austin LBJ

The La Grange volleyball team had no trouble beating visiting Austin LBJ Friday as the Lady Leps swept them 25-5, 25- 5, 25-10.

The victory improves La Grange’s record to 14-23 overall and 5-1 in district.

Maddi Fritz led the team in kills with 11 and Tori Harold had eight.

Emma Coltrain led the team in digs with five.

Abigail DelaRosa served a team-high nine aces, Hailey Hill served seven and Fritz six.

Hill led the team in assists with 12 and Fritz had 14.

Harold and Fritz each had blocks.

The La Grange JV defeated LBJ 25-8, 25-9 to improve their overall record to 10-5 and 5-0 in district.

The Lady Leps will travel to Eastside Memorial on Tuesday, Oct. 5 as district play continues.
