Horns Win Golf Tourney

The Schulenburg Shorthorn golfers took 1st place in the Rice Golf Tournament played in Eagle Lake. Kaz McBride finished tied for 1st place individually and won a one game playoff. Reid Janda finished 4th overall after a playoff. The Horns compete in the district tournament Monday at Weimar. • The Lady Horns played in the Rice Golf Tournament last week in Eagle Lake. Makena Kopecky scored a 157 and Larissa Bohlmann scored a 160. The next competition for the golfers is the district tournament Monday in Weimar.
