Golan Hits Wins Milestone

Over the Christmas break La Grange head coach Heath Golan achieved an impressive career milestone – 250 wins as Lady Leps basketball head coach.

“It’s taken a while to get there it feels like,” Golan laughed. “I don’t coach for those type of things, it just happens.”

“I’ve actually coached here for 26 years but I haven’t been a head coach the whole time, I was over on the boys side as an assistant for seven years. The 250 wins actually represents 15 or 16 seasons.

“You look back and reflect, and it’s neat.”
