When: 7:30 p.m. Friday

Where: Schulenburg

Records: Flatonia is 6-1 and 3-0 in district. Schulenburg is 0-6 and 0-3 in district.

Of Note: These two Fayette County teams have had dramatically different seasons. Flatonia is surging, winners of five in a row. Gilbert Price has been named interim head coach .... Flatonia quarterback Fidel Venegas has thrown for 1,385 yards and run for 568 this year ... The bulk of the Shorthorns team is sophomores, which has played into their struggles this season.
