A game-tying two-point conversion try by Stockdale was stopped by Flatonia with 13 seconds left in the game Friday as the Bulldogs escaped with a 28-26 victory on homecoming.
Flatonia’s Fidel Venegas ran for three touchdowns as also threw for 157 yards to lead the Bulldogs attack. Aiden Gonzales also scored for the Bulldogs on a early fumble recovery in the endzone.
