The La Grange boys basketball team saw its season come to an end Friday in Georgetown with a 62-40 loss to Waco Connally in a second round 4A playoff game.

La Grange junior Jaxon Cooper scored a team-high 16 points, as the Leps were in the game early but Connally continued to build the lead throughout the second half.

Connally (30-3) advances to face Center in the next round.

The Leps end the season with a 18-15 overall record. The Leps had just one senior, Dana Baker, and return a strong core of players for next season.
