Brock Gets Off to Hot Start for RT-C Basketball
Round Top-Carmine basketball player Seth Brock catapulted his hoops team to a pair of early wins this season thanks to Brock’s will to put the ball in the basket, making him the leading scorer in each of the Cubs’ first two games.
“We knew coming in he was going to be the leader of the team,” said Round Top-Carmine head boy’s basketball coach Blake Goehring. “He’s our point guard. He’s been waiting to take that role. He’s led us with scoring and not just scoring, but effort. The other players follow him and take by his lead. The first couple games, he’s been doing a great job.”
Brock runs the offense and can score points while doing so, making him our selection for this edition’s Player of the Week.
