Barnes to Pitch for Galveston College

“

At the very beginning of the summer we had this showcase thing and they started texting me right after that. I toured there at the very end of summer and I liked it. I played there (with a club team) in the fall. I had two other offers I was really considering, and five or six total.”

– La Grange baseball pitcher Trenton Barnes, who signed with Galveston College last week

“ I’m really excited for him and his family. The hard work that he has put into this game is paying off today. He is fulfilling a dream come true. It’s neat he’s going to a place where we already have a guy pitching (LG grad Wyatt Wick is a Juco all-star for Galveston College) and I know when Trenton gets to Galveston, he’s going to do the same thing.”
