Are You Ready for Some High School Football?

This Monday marked the first day high school football team could hold full-squad workouts, and La Grange wasted no time, with varsity and JV beginning at 6 a.m. Monday. Schulenburg and Flatonia join the Leps in navigating exciting new districts this season. Scrimmages will begin as early as next week, with season openers Aug. 28.

Football Magazine Released

For the last four years, Fayette County Farm Bureau has sponsored these customized La Grange Leopard Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazines. All proceeds go directly to the LGISD Athletic Program. But this year they are adding a new twist. Every purchase of a DCTF magazine gets a person entered in our TXFB Hometown Halftime Field Goal Contest. For every home game, they will draw a name and give that person or representative the opportunity to make a field goal. If they do, they will win a $100 gift card, and the Farm Bureau office will make a matching donation to LG Athletics.

“It’s a great way to support our Leps and have a little fun giving back to the program and community. We are honored to be part of this,” said Marcus Zarosky, agency manager, Fayette County Fair Bureau.
