4-H Competes in State Fair of Texas Food Challenge Contest

Several Fayette County 4-H members competed in the State Fair of Texas Food Challenge Contest on Monday, Oct. 3, in Dallas.

The Fayette County 4-H Senior Team consisting of Harper Mau, Cooper Mau, Cash Smith, and Mackenzie Poncik placed 1st in Senior Side Dish Category and advanced to the Final Round.

They were the Champion Senior Team in the Final Round.

The Fayette County 4-H Senior Team consisting of Elena Supak, Tori Newton, and Eleanor Carey placed 1st in the Senior Main Dish Category and advanced to the Final Round where they were in the top 4.

The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team consisting of Kandon Kaspar, Mackayla Griffin, and Scotti Beseda placed 2nd in the Junior Healthy Dessert Category.

The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team consisting of Sawyer Mau, Allyson Kibby, and Tatum Fritsch placed 2nd in the Junior Appetizer Category.
