Lost Pines Toyota Makes Donation to Breast Cancer Awareness

Carlos Liriano, owner of Lost Pines Toyota in Bastrop, committed $5,000 to assist in expanding breast cancer screenings and diagnostics for women under the age of 40 in Central Texas, and Toyota will match the donation with an additional $5,000. On Friday, July 28, Lost Pines Toyota will host the Bastrop County Cares Breast Health Initiative from 11:30 a.m.

Stanzel Family Foundation Sponsors Four Local Camp Invention Students

The Stanzel Family Foundation is proud to have sponsored local students to attend Camp Invention in La Grange. The students were funded through the Dale Kirn Memorial Scholarship, awarded every year to four local students who show an aptitude in science, technology, engineering, art and math in the Schulenburg or Weimar schools.

City-Wide Garage Sale a Winner; Visit Lake Fayette This Summer

The City-Wide Garage Sale put on by the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce was a huge success with 32 locations on the map. Whew! The Fayetteville Lions Club scored over $3,500. This included proceeds from their Sneak Preview night.
