On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Hebler family of Cody, Kasey, Kambri, and Cayson generously donated a Little Library to the Fayette Public Library. Cody Hebler and his company, Texas Elite Fabrication LLC, built and beautifully painted the Little Library. This thoughtful donation will give community members another opportunity to share books, discover new stories, and build a love of reading. The Fayette Public Library staff sincerely appreciates the Hebler family and Texas Elite Fabrication LLC for their generosity and for helping support literacy and the library’s mission in our community.

C Forgotten and Found Antiques, owned by Christine and Stephen Rosenbaum has opened at 118 S. Hauptstrasse St in Carmine.

Neighbors Night Out in Warda will be held on Sunday, Oct. 18 at the Holy Cross Picnic Grounds. We will have some great speakers as well as a barbecue pulled pork meal, hot dogs and Blue Bell ice cream.

Edward and Laura Kozel of Frelsburg are pleased to announce the birth of their second son, Jacob Andrew Kozel, born at 9:28 a.m. on Sept. 16, at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin. He weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and measured 19 3/4 inches in length.

Thanks to a host of volunteers, all the materials for Liberty Trees are ready for delivery on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Every year in December, Arts for Rural Texas (ARTS) presents The Holiday Show, a community art exhibition held at the Ross Gallery in Fayetteville. The exhibition celebrates local artists in the community and provides a special opportunity for creatives to showcase their work.
