Regional Fire Poster Winners Honored

Three La Grange students placed in the regional fire poster contest for the Guadalupe District of the Texas Firefighters and Fire Marshals Association. The posters were judged at the District’s convention in May. Lauren Lloyd of La Grange Elementary (pictured above, left) won second place in the 3rd and 4th Grade Division. Blake Markwardt of Sacred Heart won third place in the 3rd and 4th Grade DIvision and Adelyn Montgomery of Sacred Heart won third place in the Pre-K and Kindergarten Division (pictured above, right). Capt. Kenneth Chovanec of the La Grange Fire Department presented the awards.
