The Record at Mount Rushmore on July 4

The four presidents on Mount Rushmore all seem to be trying to get a peek over the locals’ at their copy of The Fayette County Record. “Travis and I set a goal to take our family to all 50 states before our oldest son, Everett, turns 18,” said Robyn, a teacher at La Grange elementary. “We completed our 23rd state visit on Wednesday (of last week) and plan to visit six more states on this tour. We count a state as visited by viewing its Capitol. “When planning these trips, I make sure to highlight what each state is known for and choose the best time of year to maximize our experience. This summer, we planned our visits to seven states around July 4th at Mt. Rushmore ending the summer with 29 states visited.”
