Local Craftsman Donates Wooden Flags for City Hall

Local craftsman Drew Ammann presented the City of La Grange with American and Texas flags he build out of wood. Ammann made the flags out of 2x4s that he joined together. He used a grinder to make waves in the wood so the flags appear like they’re blowing in the wind. Ammann presented the flags to Mayor Jan Dockery and the staff at City Hall on Friday, June 12, just ahead of Flag Day. They will be installed inside the La Grange City Council Chamber.
