Busted Oaks Celebrates Expansion

The Carmine Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at Busted Oak Cellars on May 21 to commemorate the expansion of their tasting room. The beautiful new addition greets visitors with massive entrance doors and soaring ceilings featuring hand-hewn wood rafters that create an impressive and inviting atmosphere. The name for the new building has not been determined, and the Cooke family has invited their patrons to submit their ideas when they visit. Pat Cooke did the honors of cutting the ribbon alongside Sherrie Cooke and Kevin Cooke of Busted Oak Cellars. Representing the Carmine Chamber were Tamara Neese, Courtney Kieke, Marcia Hingtgen, Stephanie Lamoreaux. Busted Oak Cellars, www.bustedoakcellars.com, is located at 6195 Round Top Rd.
