Family members gathered at the Fresno, California, home of Dorothy Sampson Andrews on July 4 to celebrate her extraordinary 96th birthday. A 1950 graduate of Brenham’s Pickard High School, she continues to cherish fond memories of growing up in the Brenham and Round Top-Carmine communities.
