The Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange recently took in a pair of surrendered Bengal Cats (one of which is shown above). They already have a new home lined up, but the shelter will be taking care of them until that new home is ready, and the public is invited to come see Tom and Bob. They are domestic cats (a product of breeding between wild Asian Leopard Cats and housecats) but with elegant spots and a look that imitates the big cats found in the wild.
