AMEN Serves Over 300 Families In July

The AMEN Food Pantry appreciates all in the community who provided food assistance for the month of July. This would include all who provided monetary donations, food drives and the AMEN Gardens. The gardeners have been providing beets, kale, carrots and many other leafy vegetables. As noted with the numbers served have increased for the summer months with school no longer in session.

A recap for the month provides the following statistics. 318 families were served, which represented 932 individuals served.

Donated food was 9,270 lbs. The number of volunteers was 270 for for a total of one 1,027 hours.
