All roads lead to Praha this Saturday, August 15, for the 171st Annual Prazska Pout, or Praha Picnic.

Thousands are expected to descend upon The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in tiny Praha for a full day of fellowship and entertainment.

The day begins with Holy Mass at 10 a.m. The famous Praha-style fried chicken and stew dinner will be served at 11 a.m. Dine-in or to-go plates are $15 each. There will be a cake walk, country store, fish pond, ring toss, and more. The big live auction starts at 1 p.m. Bingo will take place in the hall from 2-6 p.m.

Four bands will entertain the crowd under the big pavilion throughout the day and into the night. The Shiner Hobo Band performs from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., followed by Mark Halata & Texavia from 2-5 p.m., The Czechaholics from 5-8 p.m. and Texas Dream Band from 8-11 p.m.

Hamburgers will be served after 4 p.m.
