100th Citzler Family Reunion Held

142 Citzler cousins of the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh generations (with a few guests) gathered at Lutherhill Ministries Camp Sunday, June 7, 2026, for the 100th Citzler Reunion. Descendants of Johann “Emil” Citzler and Clara (Jaeschke) Citzler, who immigrated from Germany with their four young girls in 1884 and who then had five Texas-born children as well, gathered for their first reunion in 1925 at the Sirochca Place near Rabb’s Prairie on the Colorado River. Annual reunions have occurred in all but two years since, only missed due to death of one of the Texas-born siblings in 1950 and due to Covid in 2020.”
