Frankie William Kopecky, 87, of La Grange, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022.

Carmel Mary Faldyn (Muras) passed away and was called by the Lord peacefully to Heaven on Nov. 12, 2022, after a monthlong battle with illness, at the age of 80.

Richard Darrell Hughett, known as Coach Hughett, passed away at age 86 in La Grange on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022. He was born on Sept. 27, 1936, to John Hensel and Sylvia Farmer Hughett in Pulaski, Va., surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Patsy Jane was born in Houston on Aug. 10, 1942, to Ham and Jane Ellisor. She grew up in Houston’s East End, graduated Austin High School and then Massey’s Business College. While working at Schlumberger, she was introduced to the love of her life, Charles A. Schmidt. Pat and Charles were married on Oct. 15, 1966. They adopted two children, Charles Thomas Schmidt, and Natalie Dawn Taylor, both of whom survived her. She also left behind her best friend of more than 50 years, Donnie Wunderlich, as well as two grandchildren, Charles Battle Schmidt and Catherine Jane Schmidt, a sonin- law, Gregory Taylor, a brother, Ronald Hamlin Ellisor, and a sister-in-law, Lavonne Prosser Ellisor. Pat held a special place in each of their hearts and will be missed forever.

Funeral services for Robert Grimm, 80 of Giddings, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. RobertTiner and Rev. Josh Hahn officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery.

Melanie C. Scholler, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Nov.

Lee Roy Adolph Philipp Schilling, 92, passed away peacefully on Nov. 11, 2022, in Cedar Park.

Dolores (Dolly) Newton, 90, of Maysfield, passed peacefully from this Life into Eternal Life on Nov. 10, 2022 at home in La Grange.

Sherman (Cubby) Macdaniel, dedicated father, husband, grandfather, greatgrandfather, friend and author passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022.

Robert Louis Preuss, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 7, in Brenham.
