Zoch
Bobby Lee Zoch, 71, of La Grange entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022.
Bobby was born on Nov. 11, 1950 to Carl and Ella Zoch. He was one of four children. He married J.C. Zoch, his wife of 41 years. Bobby loved working cattle with his father. He went to La Grange High School and graduated top of his class. He was President of the Round Up Club. He enjoyed hunting and passing out sausage to everyone. Growing vegetables and working until he couldn’t was his passion.
To all who loved Bobby: we are sad and humbled in heart to let you know of his passing on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Cemetery at 3263 Old Plum Highway in La Grange, Texas 78945.
He was one tough man and fought the good fight ‘til the very end. He was an honest man. He could be tough as nails, or as gentle as a light spring breeze or gentle rain. He loved all his children and grandchildren and always looked forward to seeing and being with them.
He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange. He had many very good friends and a few of the closest in La Grange were Gary Diers, Billy and Charles Koepke, and David Kistner, Ben and Cathy Vence, as well as numerous others.
If he could speak right now, we know he would want to thank everyone and give them his love. Goodbye beloved cowboy, you will be missed for sure. And we’ll see you on the other side … VAYA CON DIOS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ella Zoch of La Grange and sister, Laverne Gersch.
He is survived by his wife, J.C. Zoch; daughter, Sabra Zoch Johnson; son, Cody Zoch and step-son, Shane Hopkins; four grandchildren, Dakoda and Colton Zoch, Gracie and Mady Johnson; and two sisters, Mary Ann Davenport and Carol Touchstone.
