Young

John Wallace Young, 86, of Flatonia, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021.

John was born Sept. 10, 1935 in Tomball to Willie Maple Bentley Young and Van Floyd Young.

John is survived by his son Michael Young (Darlene) of Burnet; his son Richard Young (Tammy) of Flatonia; and his daughter Tammy Potter of San Marcos; his brothers Macie and Leroy Young, his sisters Ruby and Clara; his seven grandchildren and his six great-granddaughters.

John was preceded in death by his wife Carol Young; his father Van Floyd Young and his mother Willie Maple Bentley Young; brother Bill and sisters Willie Mae and Jeanie Marie.

As per the family wishes, there will be a private ceremony at a later date.
