Darilyn Sue (Asher) Wagner, 77, passed away, Jan. 11, 2022.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1944, in Ironton, Mo., to Bertha Jane (Wallace) and Darrell Asher. Sealed in the Temple at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints on Aug. 7, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Franklin Wagner; daughters, Robin Ross, Austin; Cherie Rosenthal, Wahalla, Shelley (Tonya) Denham, Lafayette, La.; son, Ronald (Loretta) Denham, Plum; brother, Montie Paul Asher of Conroe; grandchildren, Kristen (Tiffany) Denham, Plum; Ross (Christa) Denham, Plum; Garrett (Kimberlee) Denham, Plum, Kelsey (Anthony) Perez, Round Rock; Rebecca Ross, Bastrop; Caleb Ross, Austin; Londan Bayer, Lexington; Keith (Mindy) Goodman, Jena, La., and Matt (Megan) Goodman, Jena, La.; great-grandchildren, Remington, Tucker and Wilder Denham, Lexi, Cambree, Raelee and Ace Denham, Hunter, Hagen and Heston Denham, Braeden and Adrian Perez, Crystal Ponce and Michael Samson, Jr., Wade, Landon, Greylyn and Kaehler Gaskins, Trent, Tristan, Sadie and Sydney Goodman, Gracee, Audrey and Emori Goodman; mother-in-law, Angie Wagner; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Ricky) Burge; brother-in-law, Harvey Wagner, Jr. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Darrell Asher, C. D. “George” and Bertha “Jane” Londagin; sister, Peggy Asher; grandson, Pearson Barkley Dean Craddock; father-in-law, Harvey Wagner; brother-in-law, Brian Wagner and sister-in-law, Liz Wagner.

Darilyn was an avid artist, loved trout fishing, vacationing, going to the beach, baking and decorating wedding and birthday cakes, motorcycling adventures. She rode trail rides (Salt Grass and Southern) to the Houston Livestock Show; loved dancing, spending quality time with her family. She loved her pets, especially her dogs, Bella and Maddie, cats, Purr and Mamma Kitty; and her horse, Doc, also collected Indian Artifacts.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at the Church of Latter-day Saints–Rye Stake, 2131 Coolidge Ave., Rye, Colo. Interment followed in the Colorado City Cemetery.
