Donald Ray Treybig, 61, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020.

He was born in Houston on August 16, 1958, to Cleward and Mary Jane (Muesse) Treybig of Fayetteville, Texas.

He started his career at Tube Turns before becoming a field trainer for Triarch where he stayed for the rest of his career. Donald loved spending time with his mom, son, granddaughters, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews at the farm in Fayetteville. He was an adopted son, brother and best friend to many. He enjoyed trail rides and twostepping around the dance floor. He was happiest when taking his grandkids on tractors rides, 4-wheeling, checking the cows, being the family horse whisperer and evening drives looking for deer. He was an avid fan of all the Houston sports teams and Fox News.

He is survived by one son, Kevin Treybig and wife Lauryn of Cypress; two sisters, Donna Foehr and husband Bubba of Waller and Darla Treybig of Houston; one brother, Duane Treybig of Houston; two grandchildren, Addyson and Jensyn Treybig; four nieces and two nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cleward Treybig; mother, Mary Jane (Muesse) Treybig; brother, Douglas Treybig; niece, Tracy Foehr; grandparents, Kristina and Elo Muesse; and sister-in-law, Ginger Treybig.

In an abundance of caution due to the recent COVID-19 operating procedures, we will be following the recommendations of the Governor and County Judge. The funeral home asks that face masks be worn in the funeral home as well as social distancing up to six feet apart.

A visitation will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations, located at 208 W. Pearl St. in La Grange, prior to the memorial service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Memorial Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow at the Rutersville Cemetery in Rutersville.
