A memorial service for Roger Thompson, 79, and Joyce Thompson, 76, both of Giddings, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Tim Pitts officiating. Burial will be private and held at a later date.

Roger and Joyce passed away unexpectedly the morning of Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, at their home in Giddings.
