Funeral services for Dr. Vincent “Vince” Stewart, 68, of Giddings, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Dale Bohm officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Vincent Howard Stewart was born on Jan. 11, 1953 in Austin, the son of Dr. John Franklin Stewart Jr. and Frances Lillian (Bour) Stewart.

He passed away on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

Vince is survived by his four children, Heather and Troy Behrens of Giddings, Coby Zoch of College Station, Sean Stewart of Giddings, and Conner and Kari Stewart of Giddings; six grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Jimmy and Julie Stewart of Giddings; two sisters, Margaret and Joe Papick of Buda and Debbie and Ronnie Urban of Cypress-Fairbanks; three sisters-in-law, Barbara and Wilbert Birnbaum of Lincoln, Becky and Gaylon Michalk of Victoria, and Lisa and Mike Schumann of Dime Box; one brother-in-law, Andrew Rackel of Lincoln, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
