Donald Russell Shirtcliff, II, 62, of Houston passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Donald was born in Turners Falls, Mass. on June 26, 1959, the son of the late Alicia (Mendietta) and Russell Donald Shirtcliff.

Some of Donald’s hobbies included camping and traveling. Donald also loved spending time with his family and held a special place in his heart for his beloved niece, Caitlin and his nephews.

Donald is survived by his sister, Suzette Zarr and husband, Butch of La Grange; uncle, Francis Demers of Turners Falls, Mass.; two aunts: Margaret Hernandez of Corpus Christi; and Jean Thurber of Turners Falls, Mass.; sister-in-law, Martha Shirtcliff of Rio Grande; nephews: Clayton Zarr (Sunshine Stoos), John Paul Shirtcliff (Beatriz Padalecki) and Samuel Shirtcliff, Jr. (Griselada); niece, Caitlin Hayden (Jacob); along with his great nephew, great niece, and cousins who loved him dearly.

A private Celebration of Life will be held.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange.
