Sarah Adele Schueler, 46, daughter of Rosenberg Reverend Wayne A. and Ann Markert Schueler woke up in the arms of our loving Savior on Tuesday, June 1. She was at her home in Willis.

Sarah was born Oct. 3, 1974, in Victoria. Sarah was confirmed on April 8, 1990, in Winchester. She graduated from La Grange High School in 1994.

With her family she lived in Victoria; Friona; Fort Wayne, Ind.; Zap, North Dakota; Albany, and Winchester, Texas before moving with her family in Richmond in 1997. She never knew a stranger and considered everyone she met throughout her life to be her friend. Sarah always had a candy cane and ornament for the children at church on Christmas Eve. She is remembered for her king smile that she shared with all.

She was an active member of 4-H in Albany and Winchester. She enjoyed showing her rabbits and pigs. She received the 4-H I Dare You award her senior year.

Sarah was active in Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion. In 2019 she was honored with the group’s life membership award. She loved playing bingo and assisting any way she could at the Willis Legion Hall.

Along with her parents Sarah is survived by her brother, Matthew Schueler of Richmond; sister, Joanna and Gibson Baafour of Rosenberg; boyfriend, Geoff Mossier of Willis; and grandmother, Martha Schueler of Allen. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends throughout the country.

Sarah was proceeded in death by grandparents, Lawrence and Adele Markert and Walter Schueler; aunt, Nina Markert Lumpkins, and Cousin Christopher Schueler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise Street in Rosenberg.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the playground fund at the church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
