Diane Faye Rosenberg, 85, of La Grange passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021.

Diane was born in La Grange, the daughter of Lisetta (Himly) and Leon Eugene Rosenberg.

She was a lifelong resident of La Grange and was a part of the 1953 graduating class of La Grange High School.

Diane began working after graduating for Mueller Floral and later for Zatopek & Williams. She became a bank teller and worked for thirty-six years for First National Bank of La Grange. Many may even remember seeing Diane in the motor bank which was located across from the La Grange Post Office.

Some of her hobbies included bowling and playing on a woman’s softball team in her earlier years. After retirement, Diane enjoyed working in her yard and watching the occasional sports program on television. Most importantly, Diane loved spending time with her family and special friend, Robert.

Her grandchildren loving called Diane “Maw-Maw” and will always cherish the special memories that were made with her. She was the type of person that could brighten someone’s day with her beautiful smile or from the tender words that she spoke.

She is survived by her son, Kenny Norsworthy and wife, Dianna of La Grange; one grandson, Chris Norsworthy and wife, Kate of Montgomery; two-great grandchildren: Luke and Jane Norsworthy; one niece, Sheri Bostik of Nacogdoches; two nephews: Scott Bostik of Tyler; and Stan Bostik and wife, Kim along with their three children Ryan, Kendall and Cody of Whitehouse; and special friend, Robert Vanek of La Grange.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marcia Bostik.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Diane to the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department, 200 N Franklin St, La Grange, TX 78945.
