Roselius

Donald “Don” Roselius, 85, of La Grange, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022.

Don was born in Hebron, Neb. on Jan. 2, 1937, the son of William Henry Roselius and Grace Koffer Roselius. He married Camille Yvonne Freytag on June 11 in 1960.

He worked as a chemical engineer for Exxon Oil Company in Houston and retired with 30 years of service with the company.

Don raised three fantastic sons. He inspired them to travel and to explore new places in the world.

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed nature.

He is survived by his wife, Camille Roselius; three sons: David Scott Roselius and wife, Melanie; Steven Roselius and wife, Ashley; and Chris Roselius and wife, Shelley, all of Houston; six grandchildren: Brandon, Katherine, Brianna, Mitchell, Quinn and Vivienne Roselius.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Roland and Ronald Roselius.

A graveside service will be held at Flatonia City Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
