Funeral services for Virginia “Ginger” Psencik, 79 of Carmine, were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Giddings with Father Miguel Duarte officiating.
Virginia “Ginger” Ann Psencik was born on Aug. 18, 1941 in Bastrop to Adolph George and Edna Annie (Ott) Psencik. She worked as a Business Manager for AT&T and as a Level of Care Coordinator for the State of Texas. Ginger was always on the go and very active in her community. She served on the Carmine Chamber of Commerce. Her love of antiques, especially Vaseline glass, and going “junkin’” lead her to be a founding member of the Round Top Antique Show. Ginger was a very talented artist with painting and would make beautiful stained glass. She loved being outside and gardening. Ginger even got her pilot license at the age of 50. She loved spending time with her family and friends playing Train and going on cruises.
Ginger passed away the evening of Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at her home in Carmine.
Ginger is survived by her three daughters, Donna Rose Park of Carmine, Lori Kay Korus of Carmine, and Cheri Ann and Kenneth Bishop of Carmine; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Kathleen Williams of Carmine; two best friends, Dodie and CV Sheffield of New Mexico and Jayne and Jerry Knox of Carmine, as well as many other family members and friends.
Fuenral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
