Mueller

Karl Albert August Mueller died on March 1, 2026. He was born Aug. 6, 1978, in Houston and moved to La Grange in 1982.

Karl was the son of Herman Albert Mueller, Sr. and Cynthia Wickizer Mueller, and the brother of Rosemary Lindley, Herman Mueller, Jr., Oscar Mueller, Alexandra Sorrells, Catherine Stannard, and Deborah Sumner. He was an uncle to his nieces and nephews, including Eric Anderson Lindley and Michael Blake Lindley, and a surrogate uncle to Ryan Davis and his sister Destiny of La Grange, a role he assumed after the early death of Ryan’s father, Karl’s closest friend.

Karl attended La Grange and Fayetteville High Schools and worked for Austin Energy Public Utility Company where he served as a Distribution Construction Coordinator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a long standing interest in history and militaria.

A scripture that reflects his life reads: Ich habe den guten Kampf gekämpft, den Lauf vollendet, die Treue bewahrt. (2 Timotheus 4,7) Services will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home and Cremations in La Grange on Saturday, March 14, 2026. A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and the service will start at 10 a.m. A private graveside service will be held at the Oak Island Methodist Church in San Antonio. Karl will join generations of his German Texan ancestors who have been laid to rest there for more than 140 years.

Karl is also remembered by his best dog pal, Lucas.
