Michalsky
Ray Ann Michalsky passed away on June 7, 2020 in La Grange at the age of 77.
Ray Ann was born in La Grange on Aug. 15, 1942, the daughter of Elo Mueller and Minnie Havemann-Kasper. She married the love her life Laddie Michalsky on Feb. 28, 1960, at St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville.
She loved bowling, dancing, and playing softball when she was younger. She worked for GTE in La Grange for 10 years then for HEB. After retiring from HEB after 24 years, she enjoyed babysitting (Gracie, Rylie, Haley, Travis Jr., Aubree, Witten), bird watching, stitching, doing puzzles, and gardening. She was actively involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She loved going to watch sporting events, band competitions, and many other activities with her family. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville.
Ray Ann is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leslie “Bubba” Mueller, and sister-in-law, Monsuk “Suki” Mueller.
Ray Ann is survived by her husband, Laddie Michalsky of 60 years; her sister, Susan Hernandez, and husband, Bennie; her children: Thomas Michalsky; Tony Michalsky and wife, Diana; Timothy Michalsky; Tammy Trlicek and husband, Greg, all of La Grange; and Terence Michalsky and wife, Heather of College Station. Grandchildren include Gentry Little and husband, Andy; Megan Michalsky; Brittney Giampietro and husband, Lee; Amanda Dyson; Wade Michalsky and wife, Emily; Ashley Michalsky; Crystal Richter; Tiffany Michalsky and fiancé, Levi Surman; Zachary Trlicek; Shelby Trlicek and fiancé, Dillon Stavinoha; Alyson Trlicek; Alyssa Michalsky and Tanner Michalsky. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations. The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A prayer service followed at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services were held at St. John Lutheran Church, 5743 State Hwy. 159 in La Grange, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Burial follow at Rutersville Cemetery.
