Sandra Dayle (Wilson) Medley, 82, of Schulenburg, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Sandra was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 18, 1938, the daughter of Willie Conra and Rebel Ruth (Burge) Wilson. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, David L. (Buddy) Geigenmiller in San Antonio, Texas.

She was a devoted mother, member of the First Presbyterian Church in La Grange, the Lady’s Friday Club, a volunteer at the Schulenburg Food Pantry, and a member of the Smith-McMillan Chapter of the DAR.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Reggie L. Medley, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Lee Medley; brother, David (Sharon) Geigenmiller; sisters: Dawn Fendley and Janice (Wayne) Clark; nieces: Shannon Massey, Sharon (Chuck) Jacobs, Kathey (Franklin) Walker, Stacy Geigenmiller, Sandra (Caleb) Mallette, Robin (Johnny) Bronikowski; nephews: Douglas Dittfurth, Clint (Tiffany) Clark and Cameron (Paula) Clark; along with a host of other family members and friends.

The family will be holding a memorial service to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Schulenburg Food Pantry, 304 East Ave., Schulenburg, TX 78956; the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter, 240 Svoboda Lane, La Grange, TX 78945; or a favorite charity of one’s choice.
