McGuire

Melinda Rainy McGuire was born Dec. 26, 1962 to Ora Lee McGuire and Junius Evans Jr. She closed her eyes for the final time on July 7, 2021.

She was a resident of La-Grange and a native of Houma, La. She will be laid to rest in Houma with her family on July 16, 2021.

She is survived by her sons, Byron, Brandon, and Brent (Erica) McGuire; daughters, Shatondra McGuire and Shanika (Ron) Beasley; step-father, Robert Nevis Sr.; brothers, Patrick, Shawn, and Chad McGuire and Darrell and Robert Nevis Jr.; sisters, Tiffany McGuire and Edith Carson; and seventeen grandchildren and a vast of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora Lee McGuire and Junius Evans Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Sarah Sims and Berwick McGuire; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Junius Evans Sr.; and brother, Ronald Ellis.

Funeral services will be held in Houma, La. and donations can be sent to P.O. Box 923, La Grange, Tx 78945.
