Bonifacio Ibarra Martinez, 50, of La Grange, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021.

Bonifacio was born in Santa Monica Municipio de Guerrero Coahuila on Sept. 11, 1971, the son of Bonifacio Ibarra and Juana Martinez. He married Luz Guerrero on April 7, 2006 in La Grange.

He worked as a welder for Alleyton Resource Company, formerly known as Multisource Sand and Gravel where he dedicated most of his career.

Bonifacio enjoyed the outdoors and loved to grill for his family. His favorite pastime was fishing or working in his yard. He had the biggest heart that poured out nothing but kindness. His beautiful smile and laugh could truly lighten up any room. He poured out the best of him in anything he did.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Luz (Guerrero) Ibarra; mother, Juana Martinez of Nava, Mexico; daughter, Nancy Capetillo of El Paso; son, Esteban Ibarra of Nava, Mexico; daughter, Denice Capetillo of La Grange; son, Juan Antonio Ibarra of Nava, Mexico; son, Oscar Capetillo of La Grange; son, Pete Capetillo of Bryan; daughter, Natalie Martinez of La Grange; daughter, Jhovanna Ibarra of La Grange; daughter, Bonnie Ibarra of La Grange; two brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bonifacio Ibarra Ramirez;

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations.

A graveside service will be held at the La Grange City Cemetery Gazebo on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. with burial at the La Grange City Cemetery.
