Lucadou

Vincent Paul Lucadou, 60, of Round Top, gained his angel wings on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 after fighting a courageous battle with COVID-19.

Vincent was born in Houston on April 23, 1960, the son of Louis Belmonte and Lillian Jean (Macey) Lucadou.

He married the love of his life, Robin Michelle McCabe on June 4, 1983 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Houston.

Vincent worked for over 25 years as a Store Director for Randalls Food Market within the Greater Houston area.

He was a faithful member of The Remnant Church of La Grange where he volunteered for his church at every occasion he could get. Vincent cherished being an usher for the church, along with attending men’s Bible study groups. Vincent also served on the Board of Directors for the StoneBridge Food Pantry located in The Woodlands, where he delivered needed supplies and prayers on a bi-weekly basis to those in need. Vincent also led discussions for the Kairos Prison Ministry for four years along with volunteering his time to the Fayette County Jail Ministry.

Vincent will be remembered by his family and friends as having a selfless heart of gold, and for his strong commitment to his family, faith and his community. One of his missions in life was to bring as many people to Jesus as he could. He truly had the love of Jesus deep in his heart and anyone who met him could see that.

One of Vincent’s past times included riding his motorcycle. He loved his Harley motorcycle, and always had a smile on his face anytime he was out riding, especially when riding alongside his motorcycle buddies exploring God’s Country.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Robin Michelle Lucadou; daughter, Lauren Michelle Lucadou (Phillip) of Round Top; son, Landon Paul Lucadou (Ryan) of the Woodlands; two brothers: Glenn Lucadou (Judy) of Spring; and Henry Miranda (Marilyn) of San Antonio; two sisters: Margo Rasch of Houston; and Susan Casell of San Antonio; motherin-law, Shirley Going of Round Top; sister-in-law, Roxie Broussard of Brenham; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; and fathersin-law, Robert McCabe and Phil Going.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Remnant Church, 2010 N. Von Minden Road in La Grange, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021. In honor of Vincent, we kindly ask that face coverings are worn at all times during the service.
