Lehmann

Funeral services for Raymond Lehmann, 97 of Ledbetter, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Terry Bage officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Giddings American Legion York Post 276, followed in the Ledbetter Cemetery.

Raymond Fritz Lehmann was born on March 12, 1924 in Sandtown to Adolph and Antonie (Schultz) Lehmann. He was proud of his time served in the U.S. Army and told many stories of serving in World War II and the Battle of the Bulge. Raymond married Ruby Hinze on Jan. 11, 1948 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top.

Raymond passed away the morning of Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home in Ledbetter.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Terran Lehmann of Ledbetter; five grandchildren, Vanessa Harrison of Giddings, Brandon Faske of Ledbetter, Garrick Faske of Giddings, Malehna Garza and her fiancé, Ronny Zima of Ledbetter, and Raleigh Garza of Ledbetter; two great grandchildren, Lane Harrison of Giddings and Kain Zima of Ledbetter; one brother, Kenneth Lehmann of Ledbetter, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
