Kulow

Lee Roy Kulow, 91, of Cat Spring, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Lee Roy was born in Cat Spring on June 28, 1928, the son of Otto and Lillie (Brast) Kulow.

Lee Roy worked as a road construction laborer and worked in gravel pits. Later he worked for Santa Fe Railway Company as a carman until his retirement.

He is survived by two sons: Curtis Kulow and wife, Elizabeth of Brenham; Daryl Kulow and wife, Karen of Cat Spring; two daughters: Melba Reznicek and husband, Michael of Cat Spring; Janice Thompson and husband, Ken of Clearwater, Fla.; twelve grandchildren: Christopher Kulow and wife, Kellie; Bradley Kulow; Andrew Kulow and wife, Cassie; Michael Dyer; Stacie Gonzales, and husband, Michael; Brian Dyer and wife, Marissa; Krystal Jackson and husband, Rodney; Kevin Kulow and wife, Jessica; Michael Reznicek, Jr. and wife, Jackie; Allen Reznicek and wife, Mandy; Aaron Reznicek; Bradley Thompson and wife, Soyla; great-grandchildren: Christopher Kulow, Jr.; Kay Lynn Kulow; Cameron Kulow; Cynthia Kulow; Izabella Kulow; Jacob Kulow; Matthew Kulow; Elisabeth Kulow; Nathan Kulow; Hailey Jackson; Penelope Kulow; Layla Thompson; Leslie Thompson; Dylan Thompson; Shiloh Thompson; Salma Thompson; Kierston Suder; Allison Suder; Gretchen Sacks and Rebekah Sacks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geraldine Kulow and son, Kenneth Ray Kulow.

In an abundance of caution due to the recent COVID-19 operating procedures, we will be following the recommendations of the Governor and County Judge.

Graveside Services were held at New Ulm Cemetery, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made a charity of one’s choice.
