Kubesch

Bernice Marie Kubesch, 89, of Weimar died peacefully on Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021.

She was born in Weimar on Oct. 4, 1931, the daughter of Steve Kosler and Mathilda Kosler Palmer. Bernice married Leroy Kubesch on Feb., 23, 1954 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Weimar.

Bernice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest enjoyment was overseeing the family farm. Bernice also loved to garden and spend time with her family.

Bernice is survived by three daughters, Barbara Eichler of La Grange; Arlene Lantrip and husband, Mark of Waco and Carolyn Bertsch and husband, Darrell of La Grange.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Tammy Eichler; Aaron Eichler and wife, Audrey; Scott Eichler; Crystal Keith and husband Troy; Danny Lantrip and wife Brandi; Christopher Bertsch and wife Ashley, and Mitchell Bertsch. Four great-grandchildren also survive her.

Also surviving are two sisters, Gladys Rosenauer and husband, Gene of Weimar and Dora Brown of Columbus. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Evelyn Kosler of San Antonio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Kubesch; son, Harlan Kubesch; brother, Melvin Kosler; sister Viola Anders and son-in-law Doug Eichler.

Private Graveside Services will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Weimar with Fr. Wayne Flagg officiating.
