Memorial services for Linda Kovar, 78, of Ledbetter, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings, Texas, with Tim Pitts officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda Sue Kovar was born on August 15, 1947, in Austin, Texas, to Charles Spoules Lay and Joyce Marie (Minton) Lay. After graduating high school, Linda had several different careers, but her favorite was being a Pre K Teacher at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine. She was happily married to Richard Kovar in April of 1994. They were blessed together with six children.
