Kathy Sue Kay passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange.

She was born Sept. 26, 1949 in Austin. As a lifelong Texas native, Kathy was not only wellloved by her family, but also those who knew her in her small town. She was known for her generous and giving heart and her vivacious sense of humor.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Gary Kay, to whom she was married 35 years, and her children Michael Jones, Jennifer Scallan and Danny Jones. She was also blessed with twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and another on the way. She will be greatly missed.

Due to current events and the inability to gather in large groups, the family held a private service on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
